LICENSED JUMPERS

Welcome to Bay Area Skydiving! We are happy to have fun jumpers of all experience levels and disciples join our active crew of regulars. No reservations are needed for Licensed Skydivers wanting to come to play in the sky!

Requirements

  • You must be a USPA member and hold an “A” license or higher, or foreign equivalent.
  • You must meet the currency requirements for your License, See below.
  • Be sure to bring your logbooks. An electronic version such as a ProTrack will work as well.
  • If you do not have a license you will have to be cleared by our staff Instructor or Examiner.
  • AAD’s are required for student jumpers, and highly recommended for everyone.
  • All gear must be TSO’d and have a reserve in date with data card, or foreign equivalent.
  • You must be 18 years of age to skydive!
  • Currency Requirements

    A License
    USPA A-license holders who have not made a freefall skydive within 60 days should make at least one jump under the supervision of a currently rated USPA instructional rating holder until demonstrating altitude awareness, freefall control on all axes, tracking, and canopy skills sufficient for safely jumping in groups.

    B License
    USPA B-license holders who have not made a freefall skydive within the
    preceding 90 days should make at least one jump under the supervision of a
    USPA instructional rating holder until demonstrating the ability to safely exercise the privileges of that license.

    C and D License
    USPA C- and D-license holders who have not made a freefall skydive within the preceding 6 months should make at least one jump under the supervision of a USPA instructional rating.
